The land where Lord Krishna was born and spent his youth, has today little towns and hamlets that are still alive with the Krishna legend and still redolent with the music of his flute. Mathura, a little town on the River Yamuna was transformed into a place of faith after Lord Krishna was born here. Vrindavan, a village - once noted for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful youth. There are numerous other little spots in the area that still reverberate with the enchantment of Krishna. It is said that Lord Krishna never leaves Vrindavan. At present Vrindavana continues its position as a transcendental place and certainly anyone who goes there becomes transcendentally purified. Parmanand ji Yug Purush is a title given to only a very few holy masters meaning "A teacher of the age." Swami Parmanand ji is a Vedanta scholar and teaches a doctrine of the Absolute., Oneness of all life. He teaches with clear vision, love and great humor. He and his organization have founded and operate many ashrams and schools throughout central and northern India and have recently opened Paramshaktipeeth, a home in Delhi dedicated to loving, educating and caring for abandoned children. He is a tireless servant for God. Perhaps most apparent is the joy, beauty and childlike innocence that emanates from him. Sally
has spent 11
years and six of these years living in India, including taking
a group to the 12 year Kumbha Mela celebration and traveling with Swami
Parmanandji. She has recently published her book, Chronicles of a
Healer, She Who Dances , and is featured in Loretta Washburn's
book, Mind Travelers, Portraits of Famous Psychics and Healers of
Today. She is part Cherokee and studied with Beautiful Painted
Arrow Joseph Rael, for 18 years. Spirit Medicine is her spiritual name.
She also travels internationally assisting the Rev. Alex Orbito. Sally
is based in Virginia Beach and teaches as a minister from her own life
experiences.
